Kødbyen is Copenhagen's answer to New York's Meatpacking District.

Here there are bars, restaurants and art galleries side by side. You will find PatéPaté, which serves rustic food with a taste of French, Spanish and Moroccan food, Kødbyen's fishing bar and Warpig's brewpup, Hija de Sanchez which was voted Europe's best street food along with many other exciting eateries.

Kødbyen is situated in Flæsketorvet at Vesterbro - about 10 minutes walk from Tivoli Gardens.

In the restaurant, with its industrial touch, you sit on long tables. If you are visiting Copenhagen on a weekend, you should also bring along the fantastic brunch plate - with everything you could wish for - and more.

You will find the restaurant in both Istedgade 27 and Frederiksborggade 20D.

On the Refshale Island, in old, industrial, graffiti-decorated premises, lies the exciting Amass.

On the plate you will find modern but relaxing organic gastronomy focusing on local ingredients. Herbs, flowers and vegetables are sown in their own garden outside the restaurant.

Gemyse is located in Tivoli, Copenhagen, and is Nimb's organic vegetable restaurant.

Here, as the name implies, green, organic produce with lots of taste has the main role. You will also be able to put the sparkle in both pickled and fermented vegetables, but never in an overcooked carrot!

If you can't resist proteins, then you have the opportunity to buy meat and fish as well.
