Copenhagen is a shopping mecca with a selection to suit everyone, which is both large and trendy. The chances of a good bargain are great, and the city boasts of everything from small unique shops, used stores with hidden treasures, the big brand stores, to shopping malls with hundreds of stores such as Field´s, Fisketorvet, Illum and Magasin du Nord.
If the weather turns out to be at its best, nothing strikes a stroll in the shopping streets. If, on the other hand, it is not the best, it is good to take the shopping round inside a shopping mall in Copenhagen.
at Copenhagens most famous pedestrian street, Strøget, you will find everything from expensive stores like Prada, Hermés and Mulberry to the popular stores like Topshop and Zara. At Kongens Nytorv, at the end of Strøget, is the well-known shopping mall Magasin du Nord.
In the Latin Quarter you can find hidden treasures in one of the many second-hand, vintage and used stores.
Vesterbro is a bit like Oslo`s Grünerløkka! In the district's best shopping street, Istedgate, there are creative design shops and vintage shops.
In Jægersborggade, Nørrebrogade and Elmegade you will find art galleries, specialty stores with organic products, fantastic vintage shops, pottery, jewelry and lots of hip wine bars, cafes and restaurants.
