Cologne is approximately a 3-hour drive south-east from our IJmuiden port so it’s easy to get to via our Newcastle-Amsterdam route. You can also travel from Amsterdam to Cologne by train, which will take about 4 hours and cost about €40 for a one-way ticket, or the international bus, which will take around 6 hours and cost about €25 for a one-way ticket.

Alternatively, you could sail from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais and drive to Cologne in just over 4 hours, or sail to our Kiel port from Klaipeda and enjoy a picturesque road trip to Cologne – passing Hamburg, Munster and Dusseldorf on route!
