DFDS are the only operator to offer the Kiel to Klaipeda route, connecting Germany to Lithuania, Eastern Europe and beyond. The overnight crossing runs seven days a week, Monday to Sunday in both directions.
If you're travelling from Germany into eastern Europe, ferry travel is a great way to reduce the time spent driving so you can sit back and relax as you cruise the Baltic and into the heart of Lithuania.
If you're travelling in the opposite direction, Kiel is a convenient arrival point for access north into Scandinavia, west into Holland, Belgium and France, and south through the enchanting landscapes of Germany.
Travelling by ferry is a great way to relax and unwind for your holiday ahead.
Our ferry routes across the Baltic Sea include a crossing from Sweden to Lithuania (Karlshamn-Klaipeda), Sweden to Estonia (Kapellskär-Paldiski) and also a route linking northern Germany with Lithuania (Kiel-Klaipeda).
