ChallengeÂ
Transportation of atypical cargo sizes
BMGS often need to transport bulky, atypical products like large reinforced concrete structures, walls, slab panels and columns and sought a partner able to meet this requirement. Â
Goods are transported to BMGS construction sites in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. It was crucial any partnering logistics company could adjust capacities to meet BMGS’s business growth, as their turnover in Sweden alone had doubled in three years. Â

Solution Â
A flexible solution designed to meet growing demandsÂ
DFDS’ wide range of solutions for transporting many types of goods and our ability to integrate road and sea transport and warehouse on demand has been a good fit for BMGS’s needs. Â
The solution we developed provides BMGS with a highly flexible solution that enables them to keep up with changing and growing demands and the needs of their atypical cargo, while giving the access to calculations and data to monitor their CO2 footprint.Â
ResultsÂ
Meeting heavy demandsÂ
Today, BMGS hands over their products to us, and we take care of the rest. This includes meeting schedule needs and budgets and providing quality service throughout the process. If BMGS needs multiple deliveries to one site every day, our infrastructure set-up can deliver up to ten trucks daily to a specific location. Â
DFDS has now been providing BMGS with full-cycle logistics and door-to-door services since 2012.Â
"The wide range of services, non-standard transportation, and availability are the main reasons why we choose DFDS. As our company grows, they will ensure our products always arrive at their destination according to the plan."Â
