The port in IJmuiden is only 30 minutes from Amsterdam and easy to reach, with the ferry departing at 5:30 p.m. On board, you can expect comfortable cabins, restaurants, bars and entertainment. After a relaxing night on board, you will arrive in Newcastle the next morning. From Newcastle, you can explore the breathtaking scenery of northern England and Scotland in your own car – ideal for an individual round trip. But remember that they drive on the left in England.
