At DFDS it is business as usual, despite Brexit.
The UK will leave the EU on the 31st January 2020 and there will be a transition period until the 31 December 2020 at the earliest. Your passport is still valid, you won’t need a visa, your EHIC card is still valid and pet travel regulations stay the same. In short, you can still travel to Europe exactly as you always have.
So, there’s no need to worry as DFDS will continue to deliver our award-winning ferry crossings and your 2020 travel plans won’t be impacted; until the end of the transition period you can travel in exactly the same way as you do today so there’s nothing to stop you exploring all that Europe has to offer with DFDS.
For added peace of mind, our Brexit Guarantee means if you book direct you can enjoy free cancellations on your DFDS booking for travel taken before 29 February 2020. This free cancellation guarantee is available on our four routes from the UK to France and Holland for travel until 29 February 2020.
Simply call us at least 7 days before your trip to cancel for free.
