What does it cost to join?
Nothing. It's free.
How can I sign up?
If you have never had a Nectar account before, simply go online to register and order a card. Once you have done this your card and welcome pack will arrive within 2 weeks.
Alternatively, you can pick up a registration pack with a Nectar card enclosed at all participating companies including Sainsbury's and BP.
Do I have to be a UK citizen to join?
No, but you need to have a resident address in the United Kingdom (i.e. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man to collect points. For further information visit Nectar.com.
How old do I have to be to collect Nectar points on DFDS?
To be a Primary Nectar Collector you must be 18 or older. Additional Collectors must also be over 18 except if they are on the Nectar account of their parent or legal guardian and the relevant Primary Collector is responsible for them and accepts they may redeem points for rewards. If my card's lost, stolen or damaged, what do I do?
Simply visit Nectar.com where you can manage your account, including placing a request for a replacement card to be sent to you. Alternatively, call the Nectar Helpline team on 0344 811 0811. They're available from 8am to 8pm weekdays and from 9am to 5pm at weekends. Nectar will send you a replacement card, and more importantly, ensure any points you have already collected are safe.
How do I update my Nectar account if my details change?
To update your account simply go to Nectar.com where you can manage your own account. Alternatively, call the Nectar Helpline team on 0203 027 5943. They're available from 8am to 8pm weekdays and from 9am to 5pm at weekends.
How do I collect points with DFDS?
You collect points on all online bookings at dfds.com/en-gb, except bookings where a hotels are included. Your Nectar card must be correctly linked to the booking to collect points. To do this enter your Nectar card number in the Nectar card field when booking.
There is more than one traveler on the booking, can I center more than one Nectar card number?
No. The total Nectar points collected for the whole booking will be added to one Nectar account nominated by you.
How many points will I get with DFDS?
You will collect 2 points for every £1 spent when you book a mini cruise or ferry crossing on dfds.com/en-gb. Be aware that you are not collecting points on any hotel packages available with DFDS. Make sure you also look out for exciting offers to earn more Nectar points.
How can I find out how many Nectar points I have collected?
Simply visit Nectar.com. Once you have registered your online account you can see all your points activity and your balance.
I didn't have my Nectar card with me; can I claim the points I would have collected?
Unfortunately not. Nectar points can only be collected at the time of booking.
