Amusement parks near Newhaven
After 4 hours of relaxation onboard the DFDS ferry from Dieppe, you will arrive rested and ready to have fun at the Drusillas Park, less than a 20 minute drive from our Newhaven port. This zoo and amusement park is home to hundreds of exotic animals, as well as themed play areas. You can even organise your birthday party at the park and spend an unforgettable time discovering the animals and even feeding them.
Not far from Newhaven you can visit Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Park that will take you into the world of model trains.
Amusement parks near Dover
Take your car to one of our DFDS ferries to Dover and visit Adventure Island at Southend-on-Sea. It’s an admission-free amusement park where the rides are divided into 3 categories and you only pay for the ones that suit you the most.
You can also visit Center Parcs Elveden Forest near Cambridge. It offers many outdoor activities such as archery and paddle boarding as well as indoor entertainment including creative workshops, climbing walls and fitness classes.

Located less than a two-hour drive from our Newcastle port, York Maze Amusement Park is ideal for a family getaway. Rides, shows, water fights and mini-golf are just some of the many activities that will delight both children and adults.
