Portnellan is on the northern edge of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. The perfect starting point for further exploring the Highlands. Drive to Inveraray by the sea and be enchanted by the charm of this beautiful port city and a few kilometers further you will find Auchindrain, a historically valuable open-air museum.
In the park itself you will find Loch Lomond, Scotland's largest and most beautiful lake, with many attractions and recreational activities in its immediate vicinity. Even a trip to Glasgow is not a trip around the world and always worth a visit.
