Depending on the chosen date, the ferry to Ireland departs at 5 a.m., 9 p.m., or at night at 00:55 a.m. Please note that you can check in up to 2 hours before departure. So leave the Netherlands on time so that you are on board with your car well in advance. All meals are included during the crossing to Ireland. You travel to the Irish Republic with a valid passport or identity card. Once in Ireland, set the clock back one hour. Don't forget that when you leave the boat in Rosslare, you drive on the left side of the road. The official language in Ireland is English. In addition, Irish (Gaelic) is an official language. By boat to Ireland from the Netherlands
